How every figure is sourced, dated, and computed
BestEOR.co exists to be trusted. Every price, status, and score on this site traces to a named public record, carries a confidence tier, and is stamped with when we retrieved it. This page is the full account of how that works, so you never have to take a number on faith.
What a confidence dot means
Every figure carries one of four tiers. The dot's color is the same on every surface, so a claim's KIND is always legible at a glance. Color is never used alone: a text label always accompanies it.
Direct from the manufacturer spec sheet or a tracked retailer listing.
Published by the manufacturer about its own product (an MSRP, for example).
From a reputable secondary source (an independent review).
Derived by BestEOR.co from the underlying specs; shown with a leading ~.
Editorial as-of vs live retrieval
A comparison site fails the moment it presents a stale figure as current. We keep two clocks and never let one stand in for the other.
The curated, code-owned catalog (provider and add-on-service identity, specs, the source registry, this copy) is dated as of Aug 17, 2026. It changes only when the code is edited, and it is never shown next to a live number.
EOR prices move across the providers' own pricing pages, and there is no single live feed for them, so every price is curated with a source link and re-verified by hand on a cadence. The board carries the date we last checked:
We do not pretend a feed refreshes itself: the badge shows when we last verified the figure, and a price we have not re-checked within its cadence is shown as due for a refresh rather than as confidently current. If a figure or price has changed, confirm it with the provider before you sign up.
How each figure is sourced
Three of these are read straight from an authoritative record (the price, whether it is available, and the provider's own pages). The rankings and picks are the one thing we compute, and we show exactly how.
Per-employee price
VerifiedPrices are published starting service fees per employee per month, recorded from the provider's cited pricing page on the verification date. The price basis records conditions such as billing term, market or currency conversion. They exclude salary and statutory employer costs and are not country-specific quotes. A provider without a published fee remains quote-only and is excluded from price awards.

Availability
VerifiedWe mark each provider as available now or announced. An available provider has real, current pricing you can sign up for today (linked on its page); an announced provider has been unveiled but cannot be signed up for yet. We never claim a live figure we have not verified.

Country coverage and entity facts
VerifiedCountry coverage, owned-entity, and provider-model figures come from the provider's own published pricing and coverage pages. We quote the provider's own numbers and link each one back to the exact page that states it.

Rankings we compute
ComputedEach recommendation names its measure: lowest published starting fee, widest published EOR country coverage, widest published owned-entity country coverage, or lowest monthly starting fee divided by country count. Hybrid comparisons include only providers classified as Hybrid EOR. Missing or uncited figures cannot win an award; ties are disclosed and ordered by lower published fee, then provider name. The fee-to-coverage ratio is not a price for hiring in a particular country. We do not compute an overall service-quality or compliance score. Head-to-head price verdicts appear only when every compared provider has a published fee and those fees differ; confirm country availability, included services and a local quote before choosing.

The source registry
Every fact on the site names one of these sources. A Primary mark means the source is a provider's own pricing and coverage page: the authoritative source behind each provider's figures.
Provider pricing and coverage pages
Published per-employee-per-month EOR pricing, contractor and payroll pricing, deposits, and minimums, taken from each provider's own pricing page.
Each EOR / payroll provider
Number of countries a provider covers for EOR and payroll, and its owned-entity vs partner model, from each provider's own coverage pages.
Each EOR / payroll provider
Affiliate & partner programs
Affiliate/referral program terms (commission, triggers, payout) for providers that run their program on PartnerStack: Deel, Oyster, Papaya, Gusto, Atlas, Outstaffer.
PartnerStack
Affiliate program terms for providers that run their program on Impact.com (Remote).
Impact.com
Referral and partner-program terms for providers that run their program in-house rather than on a network (G-P, Playroll, RemoFirst, RemotePeople, Pebl, and others).
Each provider
Independent reviews & guides
Independent reviews and estimates used only where a provider does not publish a figure (for example an estimated quote-based EOR price).
Independent outlets (G2, comparison sites)
Funding and market news
Statutory employer social-security and tax-contribution rates by country, the context behind the true cost of employment on top of gross salary.
OECD
Funding, rebrands, acquisitions, and product news (for example Velocity Global becoming Pebl, or Skuad joining Payoneer).
Providers and business press
Neutrality, and the caveats we never hide
BestEOR.co ranks by the underlying data (published price, country coverage, and model), and an affiliate relationship never changes a price or a coverage figure. Affiliate status is only a tie-breaker in how results are ordered: it can put an affiliate provider first between options that are otherwise almost level, but never above a clearly cheaper or clearly broader one, and every affiliate link is labeled. We show a figure only when we have a real source for it; when we do not (for example a quote-only price), we show an honest gap, never an invented number.
Authorship and expertise
Every figure on BestEOR.co is drawn from the provider's own published pricing and coverage pages and, where useful, independent comparison sources, and links back to where it came from. We publish what the sources state, cite where it came from, and stamp when we retrieved it. Where a provider only quotes on request, we say so plainly instead of inventing a number.
